At Hsi Lai Temple TAG School, children and families find a safe and nurturing place to grow. Through the Three Acts of Goodness, they build character, confidence, and compassion. Guided by the Buddha’s wisdom and inspired by Venerable Master Hsing Yun’s vision, this journey helps raise mindful children and create harmonious homes.
Play, stories, mindfulness movements, simple routines, and gentle guidance help children learn kindness and develop confidence, moral character and wholesome habits for a joyful, successful life.
Discover Dharma in everyday life through film, stories, art, and group activities that nurture self-awareness, kind speech and teamwork.
Turn Dharma knowledge into practical wisdom for real-life challenges in that fascinating in-between stage of tweenhood—exploring identity, friendships, emotions, and school stress.
Reflect on values and choices. Practice decision-making under stress and learn skills for focus, communication, accountability and community—foundations that prepare one for the world ahead.
Cultivate wisdom, patience, and compassion through Dharma classes, meditation, child psychology, parenting workshops and special events. Be transformed to embrace wholesome routines, altruism, kind communication, and family well-being. Build a community of support within our Dharma family.
We are volunteers who care deeply about children and families. We model respectful speech, helpful actions, and steady guidance. All volunteers complete onboarding and follow community guidelines.
My journey at TAG School has been truly transformative, allowing me to witness its positive impact on students, families, and my own growth. his firsthand experience fuels my commitment to expanding TAG’s reach, so more people can find a place where they, too, can benefit from the Dharma and all that TAG has to offer. Thank you, Hsi Lai Temple and TAG School, for this wonderful opportunity to grow alongside you!
Being a member of TAG school has been a truly unique and enriching experience. I have the opportunities to make friends from different countries, learn about their cultures, and enjoy a variety of delicious their traditions foods. I especially appreciate the wide range of courses offered by FGS-Hsi Lai Temple Ven. Hui Cheng, including cooking, parenting, chanting, and sports. Each activity not only broadened my skills but also brought joy, confidences and hope . TAG school has given me a welcoming environment where learning and culture exchange naturally come together.
TAG School has deepened my understanding of Buddhism through its simple principle of keeping our mind, speech, and actions pure, guiding us toward peace and happiness. Coming to class feels like planting Bodhi seeds in the minds of both our children and ourselves, while at home we reinforce the teachings and create the conditions for those seeds to sprout and grow. Peace and happiness are grown here. 🌱
