Fo Guang Shan (FGS) is a global Buddhist organization headquartered in Taiwan, with temples and educational programs across Asia, the Americas, Europe, Africa, and Oceania. Rooted in Humanistic Buddhism, FGS encourages people to apply the Buddha’s teachings to work, family, community, and society.

Hsi Lai Temple—a branch of FGS in Hacienda Heights, California—is home to TAG School. Here, children and families explore how kindness, altruism, mindfulness, and responsibility can shape everyday choices. TAG School is one part of Hsi Lai Temple’s wider educational mission: to nurture wisdom and compassion in practical, age-appropriate ways, so that young people grow into capable, caring members of their communities.
